It fits nicely over your ear and is very comfortable. It really picks up my voice well and I don't have to lean into the game console in order to make myself heard. All in all a great accessory. This microphone for the DS is perfect for anyone using it for voice recognition. I have been using it to play a language game and it works just great.
We both found it secure in the console and easy to use. She said it made it so much easier to play the game. Don't be mislead by the fact that it doesn't come all the way to the mouth it picks up sound great. I originaly got it for myself but my mom saw it and wanted one. I got it for her birthday and when she plays the brain age game she told me she loves it.
Having them use headsets is more enjoyable for those around them. Nintendo DS Headset was purchased for my grandchildren for Christmas. They love playing Nintendo DS.
The quality seems good, but they aren't that comfortable. One question: Why does Amazon ask "How much fun is this game." when reviewing this headset. It still stays on fine, but it's hard to get used to in a world filled with comfortable ear buds and bluetooth headsets. You can flip it so it fits on either ear.which means it doesn't fit either one all that great. It isn't a game, and it isn't meant to be fun.Anyway, I bought two of these (one for my brother). They work and they're cheap, so I was happy.
A good buy for any person who has a game that this device can be used. The microphone is moveable so the user will be able to use it on either ear. I bought the headset to use with my DS while playing the game My French Coach. The headset is a touch large for my ear, but it does work very well.
